Description: QAAP-AQPL is a non profit association that serves Quebecers working in the fields of therapeutic recreation and related fields. We advocate for therapeutic recreation for people with special needs covering a wide spectrum of disabilities and age groups.
Mission/Aims: QAAP is committed to providing a forum, which will facilitate communication and networking, as well as support the establishment of standards of practice for individuals in the activity/recreation/leisure profession. This in essence will promote the advancement of quality programming for all the population we serve. QAAP will also strive to raise awareness of the profession through promotion and advocacy of recreation and leisure and its therapeutic benefits.

Training/Licensing/Certification: 90 minute training sessions offered every six weeks, annual one day training workshop.
