Description: The Canadian Psychoanalytic Society is the National Society for Canadian Psychoanalysts affiliated with the International Psychoanalytical Association. The Canadian became a Component Society of the International on July 31, 1957.
Mission/Aims: To train and support psychoanalysts in Canada.
Principal Activities: Organizing CME activities for psychoanalysts and professionals from related fields, to co-ordinate branch activities across Canada and throught the Institute, to train new psychoanalysts.
Training/Licensing/Certification: Canadian Institute of Psychoanalysis with training centers in Vancouver, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal.
Affiliations: Associations to which we are a member: International Psychoanalytic Association (IPA)
