Mission/Aims:

The Illinois Art Therapy Association (IATA) is an organization of professionals dedicated to the belief that the creative process involved in the making of art is healing and life enhancing. It's mission is to service its members and the general public by endorsing standards of professional competence and promoting knowledge in the field of art therapy.

ATR registration, BC or Board Certification. For private practice in Illinois the additional credential of one of the following licenses: the LCPC, LCSW, or a Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
