Description:

CCCBA is the premier legal resource for attorneys and members of the Contra Costa County community. We strive to educate our members and the public concerning the law, the legal profession and the judicial system, and to provide a means of communication both between and among our members and the public. CCCBA assists its members in developing and improving their practice of law by providing information, services, networking opportunities, career development programs, and other resources.

Mission/Aims:

The Contra Costa County Bar Association’s mission is to represent its members and to advocate on their behalf; to educate its members and the public concerning the law, the legal profession, and the judicial system; to provide a means of communication both among its members, and between its members and the public; and to provide services that will support its members in their legal practice.

Principal Activities:

CCCBA assists its members in developing and improving their practice of law by providing information, services, networking opportunities, career development programs, and other resources.

CCCBA assists the community through sponsorship of a State Bar Certified and American Bar Association approved Lawyer Referral & Information Service, together with myriad community resources on our website.

Training/Licensing/Certification:

CCCBA is a State Bar of California certified minimum continuing legal education (MCLE) provider. Through our 20+ Sections, we provide numerous continuing legal education courses throughout the year, including an all-day event called the "MCLE Spectacular", held in late November, at which attorneys can earn up to 7 hours of MCLE Credit.
