Description: The ARHP is a multidisciplinary organization of health professionals whose purposes are to enhance the skills and knowledge of its members and to promote the involvement of health professionals in rheumatologic disorders research, education, and quality patient care. Health professional membership qualification is a continuing interest in rheumatology practice, research, or education.
Mission/Aims: The Association of Rheumatology Health Professionals, a division of the American College of Rheumatology, is an organization of health professionals that advances rheumatology through programs of education, research, and advocacy that foster excellence in the care of people with arthritis and rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases.
Principal Activities: 1. Annual Scientific Meeting with 10,000+ attendees, over 350 educational sessions, and 2000+ research abstracts
2. Monthly & "live" audioconference series on state of the art arthritis care and research
3. Quarterly arthritis meetings with 250+ attendeesand 30+ educational sessions
4. Advocacy in Washington, DC twice a year by health professionals and their patients
5. Publish Arthritis Care & Research journal and monthly arthritis newsletter
