An association founded to provided educational and networking opportunities for dermatologic surgeons.

Mission/Aims:

The objective of the FSDS is to present educational meetings that will help the members to keep up with the latest and most advanced techniques of dermatologic surgery, particularly as they relate to these topics. It is the objective in the program to keep the FSDS on the absolute cutting edge of cutaneous surgery in the United States of America.

Principal Activities:

Provide continuing education for the purpose of ensuring the highest professional quality of dermatologic surgery.

Provide a forum for the exchange of ideas & methodology for dermatologic surgery & related basic sciences.

Verification Criteria:

License from Florida Board of Medicine.
Dermatologic surgery residency in a training program approved by the ACGME or AOA.
