Description:

The Society for Pediatric Dermatology was established in 1975 and currently has a membership of over 500 worldwide. It is the only national organization in the United States specifically dedicated to the field of Pediatric Dermatology.

Principal Activities:

The organization meets twice a year, once prior to the annual meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology and at the Society's annual meeting held during the summer. The meetings are devoted to educating physicians about advances in pediatric dermatology, supporting children with dermatological diseases and improving the care of children.
