Description:

The Dental Hygienists' Association of South Australia is a not-for-profit organisation to support and provide continuing education for its members.

Mission/Aims:

Our mission is to promote and deliver a service of excellence to the community. To continue to inform and educate all Dental Hygienists to provide a community of collegiality to foster an ethos of social equity. A desire to acquire knowledge and to share it with each other and the community which we serve.

Principal Activities:

Professional Development events throughout the year
Community activities and involvement
Education for members and students
Mentorship programmes
Opportunities to link with other professional groups through informal meetings and formal education sessions

Member Benefits:

Full membership entitles attendance to supper meetings, dinner meeting and Christmas Brunch.
Opportunity for students at reduced rate for some meetings (free membership).
Affiliate members receive some of the above.
Country members reduced rate.
Life Members receive all.
All members receive the quarterly local magazine and the Biannual National magazine.

Continuing Professional Development points - incentive to attend CPD with reward system from Oral B.
