Description: The CACD is an organization dedicated to education of its members and promotion of cosmetic dentistry in Canada. Membership is voluntary, and is restricted to dental professionals and dental laboratory technicians.
Mission/Aims: Our Mission/Vision Mandate is to promote Cosmetic Dentistry across Canada for the public and the profession. The CACD is committed to assisting dentists and their teams in achieving excellence in Cosmetic Dentistry through education, dialogue, innovation and evolution of techniques. In addition, the CACD is intended to be a resource for the public to update them on the latest cosmetic information. This organization also becomes an aid to find a dentist with advanced training in their communities.
Principal Activities: Continuing education lectures at an annual meeting, publication of the Journal of the Canadian Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and outreach programs to increase public knowledge and access to cosmetic dentistry.
