Description:

A 150 member association of school based speech/language pathologists providing service primarily in Oakland County, Michigan.

Mission/Aims:

The mission of the school Speech-Language Pathologist is to facilitate the development of a student's ability to communicate.

Principal Activities:

OCSLHA provides an opportunity for speech/language pathologists and teachers of the hearing impaired to network and participate in professional development workshops.

Member Benefits:

Members benefit from the opportunity to meet with colleagues, earn state and national continuing education credits, publicize their availability for private therapy and be informed about employment opportunities.

Training/Licensing/Certification:

OCSLHA organizes workshops that can be used to earn Michigan State Board of Education continuing education units and American Speech Hearing Association (ASHA) ceu's.
