Description: The IMA is the trade body for the UK’s £2800 billion asset management industry. The money our members manage is in a wide variety of investment vehicles including authorised investment funds, pension funds and stocks and shares ISAs.
Mission/Aims: To foster the good reputation of the industry and to promote a legal, tax and regulatory environment which is appropriate for the needs of asset mangers and their customers.
Principal Activities: The Association works with Government, regulators and other policy makers in the UK and across Europe. It also provides a centre for knowledge and understanding of investment management.
