Description: The Hawaii Estate Planning Council is a professional association of Attorneys, Certified Financial Planners, Certified Public Accountants, Chartered Financial Analysts, Chartered Financial Consultants, Chartered Life Underwriters and Trust Officers. Membership is restricted to qualified professionals in these categories.
Mission/Aims: The Mission of the Council is to promote the interests of its members and to further the growth and scope of the financial service professional. The Council promotes the team concept in Estate Planning, encouraging intelligent cooperation and the understanding of the relationship between the various disciplines and role each profession plays in servicing the client’s needs.
Principal Activities: The Council, in pursuit of its objectives, fosters opportunities for friendly exchange and discussion of ideas. It provides an opportunity for its members to network with other professionals engaged in the field of Estate Planning. Speakers at monthly dinner meetings are a source of continuing education to the ever-changing laws, procedures and functions of Estate Planning.
