Description: Members provide private services to elderly clients and their families on a fee for service basis. The organization provides opportunities for educational sessions and networking for the members.
Mission/Aims: To improve the quality of life of older adults and their caregivers.
Principal Activities: Assessment, advisement and referral is provided for home care, nursing home and other senior housing placement.
Counseling/psychotherapy and advisement on government entitlement programs.

Training/Licensing/Certification: Our organization is a co-sponsor of the Geriatric Care Management Program of the Brookdale Center on Aging in New York City.

Verification Criteria: By 2010, all members will need to be certified by one of four care management programs. All members go through a thorough screening process to become members of the local and national association.
