Description:

We are the Governing body for our members and 16 accredited Schools of Reflexology.

Mission/Aims:

To ensure excellence in the provision and supervision of training and on-going education for our members.

Principal Activities:

Provision of information and support far all members.
Administering Assessing and Examining students for the Examination process.
Raising the profile of Reflexology in Ireland.
Providing information to the Public about reflexology.

Member Benefits:

Your name is placed on our permanent register of qualified practitioners.

With your consent your name and contact details will be available via our website and by phone from the office.

You will receive a quarterly journal which is extremely informative and keeps you up to date on everything that is happening in reflexology in Ireland and abroad. It contains information on local network groups and, lectures, seminars, and workshops taking place around the country which qualify for CPD credits. Articles by members published in the Journal also qualify for CPD points.

Use of the letters M.I.R.I.

IRI members are recognised by BUPA, VIVAS Health, and VHI Health Insurance which means that your clients, who belong to these Health Insurers, may be eligible for a refund for some of their Reflexology costs.

Cheaper Practice insurance.

Network support is available from your colleagues within the Network Groups in various counties countrywide.

Being part of the Institute gives you more credibility in the eyes of the public.

Full members can attend and vote at all general meetings.

Committee Members are available Monday to Friday to answer your queries and provide practice information and advice.

The Institute represents the interests of all current members, tutors and students, in the ongoing talks with the Government on all matters pertaining to the proposed Regulation of Complementary Therapies.

We are members of international organisations.
