Description:

The South African Reflexology Society is a non-profit making professional organisation founded in 1985. Membership is open to all trained reflexologists, students, training institutions and other associations interested in therapeutic reflexology.

Mission/Aims:

To represent members by liaising with the Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa, the Professional Board of Therapeutic Reflexology, and any other Statutory body or organisation to provide a network of qualified therapeutic reflexologists, to whom the public can be referred to with confidence.

Principal Activities:

To provide a network of qualified therapeutic reflexologists, to whom the public can be referred to with confidence.

To facilitate ongoing education for members through regional branches and national conferences.

To keep members abreast of national and international trends.

To educate and inform the public through talks and article in the national media on the benefits of therapeutic reflexology.

Journal — The Society publishes a tri-annual journal, keeping members informed of developments and providing a platform for their news and views.
