Description:

The OIA is an organization of osteopathic organizations from around the world. The OIA will be the primary international organization entrusted by the osteopathic profession to work for global osteopathic unity and to advocate for high quality osteopathic healthcare.

Mission/Aims:

The purpose of the Osteopathic International Alliance is to advance the philosophy and practice of osteopathic medicine and osteopathy throughout the world.

Principal Activities:

The goals of the Osteopathic International Alliance are to:

1) Collect and disseminate accurate and targeted information about the state of the osteopathic profession worldwide

2) Promote excellence in osteopathic education, research, and health care delivery

3) Conduct consultative partnerships with international associates and organizations to advocate for the osteopathic profession

4) Sponsor and deliver educational forums

5) Participate in jointly sponsored research and health care related activities
