Description: Infant Massage USA is an association of instructors and individuals who teach and promote infant massage.
Mission/Aims: The purpose of Infant Massage USA is to promote nurturing touch and communication through training, education and research so that parents, caregivers and children are loved, valued and respoected throughout the world community.
Principal Activities: Infant Massage Parent Educator trainings, certification, continuing education, support for instructors, referral of parents to educators, and promotion of infant massage and nurturing touch.
Member Benefits: Training, newsletters, materials, CE hours, website listings, continuing education courses, conferences, and other resources.
Training/Licensing/Certification: Four-day Certified Educator of Infant Massage (CEIM) course offered in conjunction with the International Association of Infant Massage with its headquarters in Sweden. CE hours for nurses, massage therapists, PTs and OTs.

Verification Criteria: Internationally: CIMI (Certified Infant Massage Instructor with IAIM International located in Sweden. In USA: CEIM (Certified Educator of Infant Massage) trained by Infant Massage USA.
