Description:

Established in 1936, the OMTA is a member driven, not-for-profit association that provides leadership to and advocates for the massage therapy profession. The OMTA provides information and programming that encourages professional growth and high standards for Massage Therapists and promotes the profession to the public, government, business and other professions.

Mission/Aims:

The OMTA exists to advance the profession of massage therapy and to be the voice of massage therapist to the public, educational institutions, the government, business and other health care professions.

Principal Activities:

The OMTA advocates for and provides programming that fosters an environment for and encourages professional growth and high standards among the profession.
