Description: We train Certified Intant Massage Instructors (CIMIs) to teach parents to massage their babies. Classes are held all over the UK and are designed to support and encourage parents to get to know their babies through the huge benefits of positive touch through baby massage.
Mission/Aims: The mission of the International Association of Infant Massage is to promote nurturing touch and communication through training, education and research so that parents, caregivers and children are loved, valued and respected throughout the world community.
Principal Activities: Training people to be infant massage instructors. Putting parents in touch with their local CIMI. Holding regular study days for our member to ensure their continued professional development.
Member Benefits: We produce a newsletter 3 times a year, hold regular study days, and AGM each year. We have and International General Assembly every 2 years, and attend many events throughout the year to promote our association and the benefits of infant massage. Our website has a members section where current research and events can be viewed.
