Description:

The representative body for all Bowen Therapy Practitioners in New Zealand.

Principal Activities:

The objectives of the organisation shall be to:

Act as a representative body for all Bowen Therapy Practitioners in New Zealand who are members of the organisation.

Apply for, promote and obtain any provisional orders or Act of Parliament, leave, right, licence or authority to enable the organisation to carry out its objectives.

Obtain for the organisation and its members any additional powers, protections or benefit, for any purpose which may appear to the organisation to be expedient in the interests of the organisation and its members.

Oppose any Bills, Acts, Regulations or Proceedings which may be seen by the organisation as likely to prejudice the interests of the organisation and its members, directly or indirectly.

Foster, support and encourage the national awareness of Bowen Therapy within New Zealand.

Member Benefits:

Attend, speak and vote at the Annual General Meeting and all general meetings of the organisation.

Receive the current year’s issues of the Bowen News (the quarterly Newsletter of NZBTI) and the Bowen Hands (the quarterly magazine of BTAA).

Have your name, address, etc printed in the current year’s issues of the Bowen News and selected issues of Bowen Hands.

Have your name, address, etc displayed on the website of NZBTI and of Bowtech International.

Join the NZ Charter of Health Professionals.

Participate in Advanced Training Workshops.

Obtain Indemnity Insurance through NZBTI, NZ Charter of Health Professionals (NZCHP members only) or other legitimate providers.
